October Dog Blog

Well the diet is still going stong infact if I am honest it's a bit too strong! This morning I got 1/2 teaspoon of dog food for my breakfast - I am not joking you know it was ridiculous. My mum then explained to me that they had forgotten to buy food yesterday and that we would not get any more until they had gone to the shops. That may not sound too bad for you but they did not arrive back in the house till 1.45pm with the food. By that time I had considered eating Missy. I was eying up her left back leg as it looked to me the one with the most meat on it. I was in the process of washing said leg, still attached to Missy of course, in the bath when mum, dad and my brother came in the back door. I can assure you Missy was totally unharmed in the incident - just... she thought that I was just being nice and giving her a nice warm bath....don't tell her the truth please or she will never believe me again. Well that's about all the news from my world. Just one other quick thing, I thought that you might like to know my alternative name. Since I was little my big brother has called me many names but the one that has stuck is "Tumff". He assures me it is a term of flattery but I'm not sure. I put up with it cause I can think of much worse names than that.

Hi everyone and firstly I must say sorry for not having written for a few weeks, I have been up to my chocolate ears in it. You see I have been left holding the fort while my mum and dad galivant off to Geneva with a church group for the weekend, they couldn't possible spare me from church duties so I was unable to go. Well they have all arrived back home with the same people that they went out with. By all accounts they had a brilliant time and the weather was really good to them. My mum had been looking at the long range forecasts and according to them it was supposed to rain but luckily they saw Geneva in sunshine and even managed to sit outside in cafes soaking up the atmosphere. While they were there they visited the Red Cross Museum which my mum said was very interesting but also a bit sad. She found out that the Red Cross emblem is an inverse of the Swiss Flag as that was where the Red Cross started in 1863 by a young Swiss business man called Henry Dunant. They also visited The Reformation Museum and some people were brave enough to go up the tower in the Cathedral (my gran just gave her camera to another member of the party and got stunning pictures of the lake from the top...talk about cheating).
