Caring City Network - Dundee (SC029090) is part of the Caring City Network (UK). The Charity was started (as Glasgow The Caring City) in May 1999 in response to the Kosovo humanitarian crisis, and our success has spawned a network of caring initiatives.
Over the last year, we have supported several projects:
Stacks of Hope (September 2010) -a clothes collection for children in Burundi;
Cross Out Child Poverty (September 2010) - raising funds to help children in Scotland;
Text 4 Help (February 2010) - helping rebuild a school in Haiti;
We exist to:
- To Raise Awareness of International Issues within our Scotland
- To develop our Global Community through Positive & Sustainable Aid
- To Empower Regeneration by Cooperating with Communities
- To Uphold the Rights of All Individuals in Society
- To Carry a Strong, Positive & Modern Scottish Identity.
