Caring City Network - Dundee, SC029090, is part of the Caring City Network (UK). The Charity was started in 2000 in response to the Kosovo humanitarian crisis by the charity's chief executive, the Rev's Neil Galbraith. The founding charity was called Glasgow The Caring City and it still retains this name when working in Glasgow. Its success has spawned a network of daughter caring initiatives which are now part of the Caring City Network. Caring City Network - Dundee is a local Dundee base for Caring City Network projects and is managed by a local committee. Recently Caring City Network - Dundee took part in Stacks of Hope (clothes collection for Burundi), sold Saltire badges to raise money for local charities to combat child poverty in Scotland and sold Santa hats for Santathon. We also took part in the Caring City Network for Haiti through a Text 4 Help scheme.
