Just a quick update.  My mum went down to collect the cage and find out about our little lost fox cub.  The vet said that it had been suffering from shock when it was brought in (not because of mum's driving I can assure you) but they dried it and when it had recovered they gave it something to eat as it was starving.  It was then taken to the Scottish SPCA where I'm sure they will be able to look after it.

Well I don't know who turned the rain tap on but I wish they would turn it off!! I am getting a bit fed up with all this rain, I can tell you.  It plays havoc with my fur....talk about a bad hair day, I will need to buy more Frizz Ease at this rate.  Seriously, the rain for me and Missy means that we do not get as many walks as I think we should.  If we are lucky we get once round the park and then home.  It's just not good anough.  We did manage to squeeze in a trip to the beach the other day where there were two very brave men kite surfing.  I did try to wade out to them but got rapidly shouted back by my mum.  I was only going to ask them for a wee go.  I had a good time at the weekend, where I managed to again squeeze in a short trip to St Andrews to visit my Aunt, Uncle and cousins who were staying there for a few nights.  My dad sure knows how to wine and dine a girl as his idea of a romantic night out was a pizza and chips carryout from the Kinness Fry Bar in the car on the links.  They spent the night reminiscing about the old days when they lived in St Andrews, although how they could have enjoyed themselves back then when I was not with them, I just don't know. Well that's about all my news for now, I am keeping my paws crossed that I may get to the beach again tomorrow for a bit of a paddle, anyway I will let you know if I manage.

Hi again
I don't have a lot of news to report this week so I thought I would fill you in a bit about my background.  I was born on Christmas Eve 2000 (Santa dropped me off) and my mum and dad lived in a place called Lerryn in Cornwall.  It is a lovely place and it is said that this was the place that inspired the author Kenneth Grahame to write Wind in the Willows. My sister however is not cornish, she is from a place called Horrabridge in Devon (appropriate name for a horror of a sister).  Her family are all trained gun dogs but mine are all gorgeous!  Just a final point my grandad won best of breed at crufts!  It's all in the genes you know.  Well anyway that's about all for now except to say that my mum now has a swish new camera so watch out for photos of me on my blog and if you are lucky may be even a short film.

You know how I said in my last blog that my mum now has a new camera...well that would be great if she hadn't left it in Glasgow at her mum's house!  Honestly you just can't get the staff these days.  It will be coming up here soon as my granny is popping up for a visit and she will bring it with her.  Apart from maintaining my beauty daily I have not been up to that much recently.  There are 2 main reasons for this, one is the weather and the second is that my mum and dad have been busy working so they have not been able to give me the time I deserve.  I did have a lovely time last week though as I was visiting my big brothers in Plymouth.  For me that means loads of walks to my beloved woods and sleeping on my big, big brothers bed every night and most of the day too.  Well it would be a shame not to keep him company as he does spend most of his day asleep...come on he is a student you know!  The weather whilst we were in Plymouth was a bit mixed and not nearly as nice as the last visit but it was still lovely to be back in familiar surroundings.  My goodness I have just looked out the window and I can see a funny orange shiny thing in the sky...I don't believe it but I think that it's the sun.  My mum has just hung her washing out so I hope it continues.  Well I better sign off for now and if I'm lucky I may get a walk if it stays dry.  Will write again soon, BFN

Well I don't know about you but I need a holiday!  Sorry I haven't written in my blog for a bit but life has been a bit hectic.  I will give you a quick run down of my recent social calendar to give you some sort of idea.  Well it started off at the end of last week as I had to help my mum clean the house and prepare a dinner party, once that was done it was straight into preparing a bedroom for a visit from my gran and papa and before you ask I did not get to sleep the night on their bed, then it was my papa's book launch the next day at Borders, then lunch for my aunt and cousins, then off to Comrie on Sunday to stay the night with my brother's godfather and family and then back home on Monday...whew!!!  The visit to Comrie was lovely apart from my bad tempered sister.  The people we were staying with had a lovely black labrador puppy of 6 months called Oli who just wanted to say hello to Missy but she was having none of it and ended up staying in the boot of the car because she wouldn't behave.  Apart from that we went a lovely walk down by the River Earn, where naturally Missy and I had to have a swim, Oli was a bit of a woose and wouldn't come in and then we returned home to sit in front of a lovely coal fire.  Needless to say I have been sleeping rather a lot since my return but have still managed to squeeze in a few walks to Fairmuir Park.  Well I will sign off now and won't leave it too long this time until I write my next blog.
