Well, did you all promise to do an act of kindness if you touched the Sconestone? My act of kindness was to make sure that I gave myself extra portions of food at breakfast and lunchtime. Well someone has to look out for me so it might as well be me! According to my mum and dad the Sconestone on tour was a great success. It went to two schools and then on to Asda in Kirkton where everyone was entertained by a Scottish choir and a piper, after that it went to the church. It was a good turnout at all the events despite the weather. My mum said that she was sure that there were a few webbed feet touching the stone (who let Missy's duck in there?). It was a very busy day for both my mum and dad as they had to drive down to Glasgow with the stone that night or should I say sail down to Glasgow and then drive home. They arrived back in Dundee at about 1am. As usual I had been my usual considerate self and had been lying on their bed.....just to heat it up for them on their return. Well I better sign off now as it is getting near tea time, I will not be getting fed you understand but I have to go and hovver in the kitchen just to make sure my mum is cooking the food correctly. Will write soon.

Well I wish someone would have told me earlier that summer starts in September...I would not have got my hopes up if I had known that in July. Anyway it is very nice to get some decent weather for a change. You catch me at the moment in not a very good mood. When I was down visiting my gran a short while ago I was insulted!! I know it is hard to believe how anyone could say anything bad about me but they did. I was out for a walk with my gran in the field when a lady passed. As usual my gran stopped to talk to her, she talks to everyone, anyway this lady had the cheek to say "My, she's fat isn't she!" and she was not talking about my gran or Missy she was talking about me. I know I can't believe it either. Then just this morning someone came to the house and also said that I was a bit heavy. Honestly, I am just big boned. Because of all this I have been put on a diet. The only good thing is that the whole family have been put on a diet by my mum. It has only just started but we are hoping to be the 'Fit Family' by Christmas. Watch this space. Well, I think I can hear the leads rattling so that signals walkies. I will write again soon and fill you in on how the diets are going.

Just a quick update on the diet. I think it is going OK at the moment. I have noticed a reduction in .......the amount of food that I am being given. It's a disgrace! I think that they are counting out each individual chunk. I can count too you know and Missy is getting a lot more than me, I can tell you. As for my waistline I think it is also reducing. As I walk around wearing only my fur coat it is difficult to tell how much weight I have lost. I suppose I could try and weigh myself but the only way to do this is for someone to carry me then stand on the scales and funnily enough I can't find anyone to volunteer for that job. As the weather has been quite nice recently Missy and I have been taking full advantage and have been enjoying long walks on the local beaches. Next time I go for a walk I will need to take a photo and you can compare a before and after shot and tell me if the diet is working or not.
That's about all the news for now, I will write again soon. BFN
